It aims to provide an affordable four or six days of cultural activities which would not otherwise be available.
Grafton Artsfest is a non-profit incorporated body supported by local businesses and organisations. The committee believes that Grafton Artsfest is an important way of bringing the arts, audiences and whole communities together. It gives communities a creative focus, helps celebrate achievements and forge community identity, and is of significant assistance in generating increased tourism.

An extensive array of workshops for the experienced and the beginner is offered. Exhibitions, performances and social gatherings extend and augment the Artsfest experience.
